Devin Lam

Devin, 23, is from Sydney and is part of the Right Care, First Time, Where You Live Youth National Reference Group, having participated in the Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WentWest) site. He was also part of the WentWest Community Panel and now is part of the Western Sydney Citizen Assembly. He is currently studying psychology and law at Macquarie University. Further, he has volunteered with multiple organisations outside mental health, including St John Ambulance NSW and UN Youth Australia, and inside mental health, including BEING – Mental Health Consumers, headspace Castle Hill Youth Reference Group, NSW Health Mental Health Youth Advisory Group, and Western Sydney Local Health District Youth Council. He is dedicated to doing things to help others and seeks to have a great positive impact in the world. He is motivated by the opportunity to improve the experience of youth mental health for future generations and (particularly by) the opportunity to develop positive experiences from negative ones.
