The role of the Advisory Committee for the Right care, first time, where you live Program is to establish leadership and strategic guidance for the overall monitoring of the Program.

Functions

The Advisory Committee functions are to:

  1. Assess Program performance, outcomes, risks and approaches.

  2. Track Program activities to ensure reported deliverables are on track.

  3. Provide strategic and/or operational support on the optimisation of protocols and/or improvements to the study design if trouble-shooting is required.

  4. Review monitoring reports prior to BHP Foundation submission (quarters 1-3), as well as the annual reports (end of each Program year).

  5. Advocate for best practice research practices and culture, such as engaging in collaborative research opportunities in alignment with the Program’s strategic objectives.

  6. Act as a conduit to link Program activities with other relevant organisations when appropriate.
