Emily Selmon

Em is a research communications expert, ensuring dissemination and engagement of research outcomes reach a wide range of audience. Em has extensive experience as a digital specialist and social media content producer.  She has worked in mental health research communications for a number of years, first at the Black Dog Institute and now at the Brain and Mind Centre.

She is passionate about mental health research and empowering researchers to communicate about their work on digital and social media channels. Supporting the utilisation of these platforms to communicate and disseminate widely research outcomes across a wide range of stakeholders.

She has lived experience of mental illness and she shares her journey through her music, her artist name on Spotify is Em Ly.
