Joey Brogden

Josephine is currently a Youth Lived Experience Researcher at The University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre. She is an active youth advocate currently participating in a variety of youth reference groups for various projects with the ACT Office for Mental Health and youth peak body Youth Coalition. In addition to this she is also currently a member of the ACT Children and Families Services Reform Implementation Oversight Mechanisms Working Group, and a former council member of the ACT Youth Advisory Council. She is a passionate advocate for matters concerning Neurodiversity, Mental Health, Queer Rights, Sexual health education, and Adverse Childhood experiences; using her lived experienced in these areas to help inform policy and research.
