Olivia lanelli

Olivia Iannelli holds an LLM in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex in the UK and a BA in Arabic and Politics from The School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in the UK.

She is currently a Research Manager at the University of Sydney Brain and Mind Centre and has extensive experience across industry, non-government organisations and academia in the UK, Australia and the Middle East. She has worked on a developing and implementing projects and initiatives on human rights issues and emerging technologies commissioned by numerous bodies including the European Commission, The UK government, and the Irish Policing Authority. Olivia’s research and passion is focused on helping children and young people meet their full potential, eradicating violence against women and human trafficking.

In her role on the ‘Right care, first time, where you live’ Program she will support researchers and modellers while working with and liaising with communities across Australia to ensure each model is fit for purpose.
