Paul Crosland

Paul is a health economist researching youth mental health, mental healthcare system strengthening, broader socioeconomic influences and the prevention of mental health conditions. His research focuses on using simulation modelling to explore strategic investment decisions in evidence-based, cost-effective treatments, system design and policies. This work merges the methods and knowledge from systems science, health technology assessment, clinical guideline development, and chronic disease prevention to think creatively and use innovative modelling techniques to discover the strategies expected to have the biggest impact on population mental health.
